BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND- The Carson Center's signature fundraising party - PARTY FOR A PURPOSE- returns in person on Thursday, May 11!
Save money by taking advantage of the Early Bird discount through April. Get your table or tickets sooner than later because this exciting event usually sells out. The party takes place throughout the Carson Center allowing you to mix and mingle with friends old and new as you enjoy a silent auction, a live auction full of one-of-a-kind experiences, and food from local restaurants and caterers. Taste a variety of wines, champagne, bourbon cocktails, coffee, tea, and soft drinks. All these beverages and food are included in the cost of admission. The “Purpose of this Party” is to raise money for the Carson Center, which is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit regional performing arts center. Approximately 35% of the center’s annual funding comes from fundraising events, contributions, sponsorships, and grants. When you buy tickets and tables – you support arts education for children and youth, performances for audiences of all ages, Broadway musicals, big-name concerts, and other performing artists and theatre groups from across our nation and around the world. Fundraising events and contributions help us to involve more schools and families from a range of socioeconomic backgrounds. Presenting sponsorships are available now. The “Spotlight” Table for 10 is back and focuses attention on needs and opportunities in the Carson Center extended family. Examples include schools serving low-income communities who bring children to Class Acts Education Series performances and learning activities when possible – but need some help to come to a show.
