2021 DISTILLER’S DINNER FEATURES
SHANE BAKER OF WILDERNESS TRAIL
The 17th annual Carson Center Distiller's Dinner will take place Saturday, October 23, 2021, at 6 p.m., featuring Master Distiller Shane Baker of Wilderness Trace Distillery, live music, dinner, and bourbon. Reservations are required and seating is limited.
Proceeds benefit The Carson Center for the Performing Arts, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Roof Brothers Wine & Spirits has sponsored this event every year since the inception in 2005. DOE’s Eat Place will cater this 21-and-up event, which takes place at The Carson Center in historic downtown Paducah. The Eddy Grove Band will perform live folk, bluegrass, and Americana music. Master Distiller Baker will make informal remarks about the Danville-based distillery he co-founded, which is a Heritage member of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail.

Tickets are $175 per person or $150 per person for a table of 8 to 10. Price includes dinner, beverages, entertainment, and tax-deductible contribution to The Carson Center. Beverage options include Wilderness Trail Single Barrel and Small Batch bourbons, wine, beer, soft drinks, and coffee. Friends and family forming tables of 8 to 10 may pay separately if preferred. The Carson Center will follow its public health protocol, which requires showing proof of full COVID vaccination along with a photo ID for entry. Mask requirements will be based on public health guidelines in place at the time of this event.
After working with distilleries around the world to provide advice and fermentation products through their company Ferm Solutions, founders Baker and Pat Heist launched Wilderness Trail Distillery in 2012. Baker won the Kentucky Distiller’s Association’s (KDA) Esprit de Corps Award in 2020 for helping Kentucky protect doctors, first responders, and emergency personnel through the donation of sanitizer and assistance to KDA members in manufacture and coordination of resources.
