The Luther F. Carson Four Rivers Center will enhance the quality of life of the adults and children of the Four Rivers Region and beyond by providing diverse programming through public and private events which will entertain and educate for years to come and will do so without compromising the fiscal integrity or public image of the Center.
The arts strengthen communities in many ways – culturally, educationally, economically, socially, spiritually.
Quality programming that reflects community values is key to the Center’s success. Rather than duplicate or overlap with offerings of other arts organizations, the Center strives to complement and expand the range of offerings available to the people of the region.
The Luther F. Carson Four Rivers Center serves the region and acts as a resource and a partner to individual artists, other arts organizations, educators, and anyone interested in the arts
By their nature, the arts embrace people of all income levels and cultural backgrounds; they eliminate traditional barriers and stimulate creative thinking that stimulates dialog and open communication, and accepts the notion that there are many ways to solve the same problem.
Successful arts organizations are fiscally responsible and morally ethical in all their actions. Board members, employees and volunteers accept and reflect these values.
