We are thrilled to present SIX dazzling shows in our Broadway Series this year! Current Broadway Subscribers can renew their subscriptions beginning June 15 and will be able to secure their same seats (previously held with their 2019/20 Broadway subscription). An email will be sent next week to all subscribers with detailed renewal information. New Subscribers can purchase a subscription package beginning July 1.

An Officer and a Gentleman - December 18 - (2 PM Matinee!)
Based on the Oscar-winning film starring Richard Gere, this new musical is a breathtaking production that celebrates triumph over adversity and includes one of the most iconic and romantic endings ever portrayed on screen. Featuring the Grammy Award® winning, #1 hit single "Up Where We Belong", and a score based on the 1980’s catalogue of music that gave voice to a generation. The live stage production is a new adaptation by multiple Tony Awards nominee Dick Scanlan (Thoroughly Modern Millie, Everyday Rapture), based on the original screenplay by Douglas Day Stewart. The musical is directed by Scanlan with choreography by Patricia Wilcox (Motown, A Night with Janis Joplin).

Broadway Workshop NYC returns to The Carson Center this summer for another landmark year, June 21-25! Join Broadway's best and brightest performers for Broadway Workshop: Level Up, an all-new intensive designed for high school students and graduates (ages 13- 19) with a strong passion for the performing arts. Each student will study the three different disciplines of musical theatre (acting, singing, and dancing) from Broadway Workshop professional teaching artists in preparation for the end-of-program showcase. This showcase will feature students performing solo pieces as well as group musical numbers. In addition to showcase rehearsals, students will participate in dance classes, acting exercises, audition workshops. Scholarship funding available based on request and need. 10 Seats Now Available for Party for a Purpose Unplugged! Seating at a table for 10 has just become available for our Party for a Purpose Unplugged fundraising event on June 17. These seats are available only to people fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Seating is $150 per person or $1,500 for the entire table. The Carson Center will be one of six venues across the state to host SHOTS ACROSS THE BLUEGRASS, a Covid-19 vaccination clinic, next week on Wednesday, June 9 beginning at 9 AM. Kentucky Sports Radio host, Matt Jones, will be here to broadcast LIVE from The Carson Center lobby in support of the event. No appointment is necessary, walk up, get your shot, and get prepared to return to the performing arts in a safe manner. Vaccines will be administered by healthcare professionals from Kentucky CARE.
Carson Center Members have contributed an amazingly generous $123,150 in our fiscal year ending June 30, 2021.
